Jamaican-born, I emigrated to the United States with my parents in 1992. After completing a BA in biology and minors in writing and literature, my interest in science and language led me to pursue an MA in linguistics. I speak Jamaican Creole and enjoy writing, studying languages, watching anime, and listening to K-pop. I have always sought creative outlets: I played the flute and tennis for ten years, did theatre, and currently enjoy cosplaying with my younger sister. Professionally, I have fun creating brand names as a Creative Name Developer.
